The idea of a wedding makes my heart skip a beat. I just love browsing through wedding ideas, pictures, venues and all that jazz. Is that a bad thing for a single girl like me?
Nah, I don’t think so. ;p

Sure, there are many ways to keep in touch with friends who live in different timezones, but if it’s one of your best friends who’s leaving, Facebook and YM! chats just won’t do compared to impromptu coffee sessions in the city.
K, my editor, told me once that you never lose real friends. You lose contact sometimes; lose time to talk and catch up on each other’s daily life; lose the short distance to meet and have coffee. But good friends quickly pick up where they left off, as though you saw each other just yesterday.
When one of your good friends leave the country for good, it’s inevitable that you undergo some sort of separation anxiety.
“No goodbyes, Charlie,” I said.
“Yeah, just ‘see you around,’” she continued.

Upon reading this, I felt like this is sooo me. Haha. But yeah, I went through the same thing the past year. Best friends leaving the country. For good. And not just one, but two of my best friends.
I was like, WTF! I seriously felt a huge case of separation anxiety and all that cry baby moments. I felt like having the worst nightmare and wishing that someone would throw a bucket of water on me. But no, I wasn’t dreaming at all. It was real. And even if it painstakingly broke my heart, I just have to suck it up and hug them and try to hold my tears. Then, go home and cry my heart out EVERYDAY.
Yup. That happened. And it sure taught me a LOT! Whew! But here I am today, stronger and maximizing the use of technology. :))
I can’t wait for our next coffee date girls :))
I did not really like Divine Lee because I thought she was that spoiled-rich-kid-and-bitch-kind-of-girl. But I was wrong! I love her kabeckyhan and her classy, sexy and simple look :)))
Oh, and this video? LOVE it! It wasn’t that kind of cheesy cheesyhan type of thang. Haha! I think it was genuinely sweet and real. :)
Indeed, Valentine’s Day na nga. Hahahaha. Lots of love for you all! Go ahead, ilabas na ang natatagong sweetness and let’s celebrate the official day of LOVE. :) Although I still believe that you don’t need to wait for Feb 14 to show how much you love someone. Cliche as it may sound, everyday should be a day filled with LOVE and surprises!

Oh.My.Gosh. I love this song soooo much! I hope one day someone will be singing this song to me.
And yes I agree with the last couple, “Everything is about timing and Timing is Everything.”
Hey, what can I say? I’m just a hopeless romantic **sighhh
So to all of you who have already found the right one, make each and every moment count and thank God for an answered prayer. :) And to all those who are still “searching” for the right person, I say “relax and breathe, because it will come at the right time and place.” Trust me, I tell that to myself all the time.
Who knows, today might be the day you’ve long been waiting for? :)
Love love this look!! Just eyeliner and bold red lips. Definitely my kind of look :)) Classy and sexy rolled into one. :)
Sleepovers are one of the many things that my bestfriends (Cheska, Emz and AG) and I enjoy to do. It’s the time when we get to dress with our pambahay clothes, eat like guys (hahaha!), watch random movies, take pictures, and update each other with new chismissss.. :) I love how we can just be quiet together and not worry about getting into a conversation. I love how we can be nonsense and sensible at the same time. I love how we wake up just about the same time and laugh at each other for no apparent reason.
But it’s quite different this time. Cheska and AG are totally in a different time zone now. It’s so surreal how we survived not having to see each other for months and months and months. BUT, now I know why despite of terribly missing each other, our friendship remained indestructible. It’s because our friendship is not based on just having a few drinks here and there, clubbing, eating out and all that stuff.. It is the kind of friendship that has matured over time, the kind that has lots of ups and downs, and is deeply rooted and embedded into our hearts.

Distance was NEVER an issue. :)

Yummy Pad Thai! (Milay’s masterpiece)

Jumbo Spring Rolls

A little booze won’t hurt. :p

Oh how I miss you lovelies! :)

I love how the simplest of things could turn out to be the most treasured memories we could ever have.

I was reading cosmo online and I came across this article which tells us how to keep our reputation online at its BEST.
It amazes me how some people could totally divulge the little-est information about their daily life without even thinking twice. Most people forget how the internet world could brutally ruin their reputation without them knowing it. Maybe some people just like the attention. Others want the sympathy with whatever they’re going through. Some shares info just for the heck of it.
As for me, I’d still want to keep most of the things that happen in my life as private as possible. Oh well, its still a choice that we have to make RESPONSIBLY.
Here’s an excerpt from the article (cosmo.ph)
…Exercise discretion
It can be as simple as thinking before you post. Make sure that everything you put up online is something that you’d gladly acknowledge in real life. Everything—from your photos and your e-mails, to your blog entries, your Facebook status messages, and your comments on other people’s websites—is a reflection of who you are. Make sure that the persona you’re presenting on the Internet is still the best possible you, because that information is available for the whole world to see.
The Internet can be an amazing tool if you use it responsibly. Not only does it keep you connected to the people you care about, but it can be a means to learn new things and become familiar with different cultures. And if you’re technologically savvy, it can even be a venue for moneymaking. It’s all a matter of knowing how to use it to reflect positively on you, instead of letting it ruin your rep.
I could not agree more. :)

I’ve been planning to make a blog about one of the most important person in my life and I was thinking, how could I put into words all the things that I love about her?
Well the answer is I just could not. BUT, here I am… still typing my heart out and I guess I could somehow make you understand how thankful and blessed I am to have a best friend as LOVELY as her. :) This is for you luhbee!

1. I LOVE that you are always a child at heart.
You never fail to appreciate the little things. The simple things. Laugh at the silliest thing possible. Cry when you feel like it. Be stubborn. Eat until you can’t breathe anymore. Make up words that only you and your friends could comprehend. Be innocent (sometimes! haha). Play like a kid. Dance ‘til your feet hurts. Sing like nobody’s listening.

2. I MISS seeing you anytime. Just YOU literally being here.
I miss watching a random movie with you. Eating and drinking (you know whatI mean). Laughing at our corniest jokes. Downloading songs. I miss CLEANING AND PAINTING your nails. Our crazy videoke nights. Chikahan ’til dawn. Your hugs. Crying with you (now I’m definitely tearing up..) Your advice. Your text (Ra, pwede kung munta kakayo?) I guess I just miss everything about you. Need I say more?

3. I LOVE and admire you for a being a risk taker.
Even with the simplest things, you never let fear stop you from getting a step ahead to your dreams. I love that you are not scared to cry and just wash away all the hurt and pain of life’s uncertainties. But you never dwell, you always lift your head up and move forward. You know what you want, and you’ll certainly do everything to succeed. I’ve always been praying for you since the day you left to pursue your dreams. Barney, I’m so PROUD of you.

4. I LOVE you for being a great daughter and a sister.
I know that you miss your mama, papa, and binbin so so so much. The simple things. Watching tv with them. Eating. Malling. Birthdays and anniversaries. Holidays. Your mom’s lambing. Your papa’s tough but loving personality. Binbin’s teasing and when he’s covering up for you when we stay out late. :)
I could not even imagine how much you want to hug and kiss them. Just be with them, even just for a day. That may not happen on your birthday, but someday everything will all be worth it.

5. WE LOVE being your friend/sister.
In our years and years of friendship, we’ve gone through almost every challenge. Petty quarrels. Nainis si ganito kay ganyan. We’ve seen each other at our worst and best moments. Been through many issues. Been to many places. Our “baboy” (pig out) dayssss. My tapilok momentssss. Sleepovers. Drinking sessions. Countless movies. Kilig stories. Heartbreaking stories. Birthdays. Monthsary. Anniversary. Texting. Asking for advice. Making “lait” to this and that. Haha! Laugh about anything. Doing our moves on the dancefloor. Singing our hearts out. Dressing up and putting on makeup. No makeup at all. Window shopping. Blabbering on senseless things. Long distance relationship as friends. Webcam dates….
And just being together. NOTHING can beat that.

HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! I MISS AND LOVE YOU SO MUCH!
I hope you like my gift for you. All the happiness and good health for you bunny!
Hugs and Kisses,
Arra
